On January 21, 2023, QJMOTOR and Gresini Racing team jointly announced in Italy that QJMOTOR will participate in the Moto2 category of the 2023 MotoGP as the Gresini Racing naming brand, and also released the Moto2 team lineup and cooperative racing cars.

 

The Gresini Racing team, which collaborates with QJMOTOR, is a world-renowned legendary team headquartered in Fanza, Italy. The company and team were founded by Italian legend MotoGP world champion Fausto Gresini in 1997. Since its establishment, GRESINI RACING has participated in a total of 851 MotoGP events, winning 5 annual championship titles, 6 annual runner up titles, 61 station championships, and 186 qualifying pole positions. The representative paint color of the team, Gresini Blue, is highly sought after by motorcycle enthusiasts around the world.

MotoGP is an excellent stage to showcase the Chinese motorcycle brand to the world and also the best manifestation of the confidence of Chinese motorcycle companies. In order to cultivate a fertile cultural soil for Chinese motorcycle racing events and cultivate Chinese motorcycle sports talents, QJMOTOR has also launched the QJGP and Chinese Driver Training Plan, gathering domestic and foreign advantageous resources to create an integrated strategic implementation from young driver training to event organization, leading the sustainable development of the cultural ecology of domestic racing events. Czech driver Filip SALAC was born in 2001 and made his debut in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookie Cup in 2016, maintaining outstanding results in the three-year series.
