The two QJMOTOR GRESINI Moto2 riders are ready to get back on track for a thrilling double weekend, starting from Motorland Aragon, where the two Spaniards will feel at home. Next, they will head to Misano, where Gonzalez and Arenas have just taken advantage of two days of test to arrive at the race already with a solid base set-up, to aim high at Gresini’s home.

We find a Gonzalez full of expectations: after an unlucky weekend in Austria, with a huge crash in qualifying and a contact at the end of the race, here in Aragon he wants to get back to the podium, to then reconfirm his speed also in his team’s home race.

The many laps completed by Arenas in the Misano tests, make him arrive in Spain very confident of the work done: this back-to-back will be fundamental for him to concretize his growth with two good races fighting for the positions that count.

MANUEL GONZALEZ #18

“I arrive at the AragonGP with high hopes to fight for the podium again. We did a very good test in Misano and now we have more experience in different pieces for the setting of the bike. I like this track and in the past years I’ve been fast: let’s have a top home race! Then we’ll fly straight off to Italy: I am really exited to race in Misano as it is a special weekend for the team. Riding for Fausto will make me go out on track stronger. Last year I had a great race here and we have a good base set up from the test we did.”

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“Aragon: a track that is home for me, it has a special flavour. We arrive here from two days of test in Misano, where we made a step, which I want to reconfirm this weekend, especially in the race: I want to finally reach the goal, which we got close to at Silverstone. I always like to do back-to-backs: I am confident in the work we are doing, and having ridden in the tests for two days in Misano will give us an extra push in the team’s home GP. I won’t give up!”
