MISANO2 AND THEN OFF TO ASIA FOR INDONESIA AND JAPAN

After a week of break, the QJMOTOR GRESINI Moto2 team is ready to return back on track, once again on the Misano circuit, but this time there will be three riders in the Gresini’s box: in addition to Gonzalez, who in the first round achieved an excellent fourth position, and Arenas, who made a step and wants to confirm it this weekend in the race, there will also be Matteo Ferrari: the Italian, after the end of the MotoE World Championship, is ready to prove himself also in the intermediate category, as a wild card at his home circuit.

Then we’ll begin right away the Asian tour: the first run will be in Indonesia, a circuit that lends itself well to the riding style of Gonzalez, fifth at the finish line in 2023, where the heat will be a jolly, especially in the race. Then straight to Japan, for the sixteenth round of the season: we are three quarters of the way through the championship and now more than ever it will be essential to maintain concentration throughout the weekend, for then return home for a week's break before the last triple, and then conclude the championship in Valencia.

“We are returning to Misano for the second time, so the goal will be to improve, especially in the race. We also want to work well to prepare for the non-European races as best as possible. Indonesia and Japan are two circuits where I have always felt pretty good: in the first it will certainly be very hot and we will have to adapt to the track conditions, but it will be essential to start with a lot of strength to continue in a positive way in all the races outside Europe. I also like Japan a lot in general, this year I have already been there for the 8 Hours of Suzuka, but now we are going to Motegi instead, a circuit that I really like and where I hope to make the most of this opportunity and achieve a good result”
