The tenth WorldSSP round has concluded today at Motorland Aragon in Spain. In Saturday’s Race 1, Raffaele De Rosa placed first among the WorldSSP Challenge riders, while Niki Tuuli was hindered by a few technical problems, which were soon resolved by the team.
Today the two riders were back out at the Aragon track for the weekend’s second and final race. The Italian started from row five and the Finnish rider from row six for the 15-lap race, which ran on a dry track.
Aboard the new SRK 800 RS, both riders were able to maintain a consistently fast pace and reach the points zone. Niki Tuuli crossed the line twelfth and Raffaele De Rosa fifteenth, with each adding to their points tally.
Another important result for the Chinese bike, which also proves competitive at this track, the longest on the WorldSSP calendar.
